Bright Osei Baffour is the band’s guitarist, composer and arranger, the Linguist of the band. He helps us convey our message through our music. In High School, Bright met Richmond and Richard (twins) through a drummer and they became close friends. After some years, their close friendship led to the formation of ADASAMMA. After relocating to Accra, He learned from top musicians like Victor Dey, Bright Osei, Kwame Yeboah, Francis Osei ,Carl Amoah. He has performed with many Artists locally like Kojo Antwi, Rex omar, Kwabena Kwabena, Shasha Marley, Yaw Sarpong, Stonebwoy, Aka Blay and international Artists like Bitz Ambassador, Tom Braxton.
Duah Richmond Sarpong, our bassist, amicably called ‘Rikyi’ has performed and shared stage with many great artists like Jedu Blay Ambulley, Pat Thomas, Shasha Marley and Bessa Simons. He and his twin brother (Richard Sarpong Duah) met Bright Osei in High School, where they decided to form a band.
Hakeem Jean is our lead vocalist. He was helped by many renowned musicians who aided him nurture his craft as a singer very well. Hakeem currently lives in Accra, where he’s worked with countless bands and musicians.
Ebenezer Arthur, our powerful drummer, is the glue that holds the beats and the band together. He first had his desire for the drums at age 5 and after careful training from a teacher, He now plays professionally. Noticed by Highlife giants like Amandzeba Nat Brew, Samuel Owusu, Pat Thomas and Gyedu Blay Ambulley, he plays on several large stages.\ He is currently with the Adasamma group as well as other side projects.
Duah Richard Sarpong is an Accra based keyboardist. He and his twin brother met Bright Osei(Guitarist) in High School through a friend which after High School led to the formation of the band. Richard, the life of group, is one of the founders of Adasamma. He has shared the stage with many great artists like Jedu Blay Ambulley, Pat Thomas, Shasha Marley and Bessa Simons
